Lane End Conference Centre was one of a few event venues shortlisted by Active Risk, providers of enterprise risk management solutions, to host its annual kick-off day.
The client was looking to find an experienced venue – one which could offer ample outdoor space with specialist meeting rooms for hire, to host its annual kick-off day.
An important date in the calender, this annual conference includes key aspects, such as discussing past performance, looking at future goals and strategies, marketing planning and simply having a fun day out the office.
The team at Lane End welcomed the key decision makers from the Active Risk team for no less than four site-visit meetings, before the final decision was made to host the event at Lane End.
Lane End Conference Centre was chosen mainly because of the self-contained nature of its facilities and the proximity to the grounds. The Pavilion offers convenient access onto a private terrace and the grounds, ideal for any number of team buildings ideas.

The venue’s modular design means that customers are able to book one or more of the five distinctive buildings for their private use. Each of the five buildings offer a conference suite with a number of conference rooms, a comfortable lounge, dining room and bar. In total the venue offers 104 en-suite bedrooms split across three of its five distinct buildings.
